Jack & Cara - Yorkshire Wedding Barn

Another throwback to an incredible wedding - this time with Jack and Cara Jahan who got married at The Yorkshire Wedding Barn.

I was honoured when Jack approached me and asked me to film his wedding as I had known him from a long time ago in a former life when we used to go on many a night out, play gigs in our bands and have a general party life style - oh how times have changed (my idea of a party now is a good series on Netflix, a nice proper coffee and some maltesers - awesome!)

The couple looked absolutely stunning on their wedding day and radiated fun and enjoyment with a clear love between the two (i know that usually goes without saying when people get married but it was very clear with these 2). Choosing The Yorkshire Wedding barn as their setting, they mange to have an incredibly beautiful day, all in one venue where they tied the knot, drank, ate and danced the night away. The venue is a very well known wedding choice in the North East and its very easy to see why people fall in love with it. With its green fields, lake and grounds surrounding an absolutely stunning multi barn setting with ample room for the biggest of weddings this is a great choice for anyone looking for the perfect venue, wherever you are from.

I had the absolute delight of working with a now good colleague and friend of mine, the incredibly talented Steven Mcdonald who is a seasoned pro at the barn, having captured many weddings their already. He even has his work displayed by the barn for their marketing and you can clearly see why - hes an incredible photographer with a great eye for modern, natural photography, and a great understanding of how to get the best from the couple and guest in as quick a time as possible, allowing them to have more time with their guests. Hes also a great person and most of all for me, great company on the day. I have many wedding booked this and next year working with STeve and yurge anyone looking for a photographer to check out his work but drop him a message quickly as he’s booked up years in advance already.

Working form the Skies, was the brilliant Nigel of Nigel Rusby Drone Media, who captured not only some stunning aerial shots of the grounds, but some amazing internal shots. I cannot wait to work with him again and would strongly urge any couples to add on a drone to their wedding package. Nigel is a great guy and very competitively priced. He is also fully licensed and insured so you know you have peace of mind.
